Haleakala National Park

Haleakala National Park is a U.S. national park, located on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The park is 118 km², of which 100 km² and has a wild territory. The main attraction of the park is the dormant volcano Haleakala, last erupted in 1790. Kayak tours are organized for this volcano. Local people named the volcano Haleakala, which means House of the Sun. There is an ancient legend, surrounding this volcano.
